I don't know.
I don't have favourites for anything really, mainly because I always watch new anime and move on after I finish one. I have no real "connection" to any show to be honest, I just think the aforementioned are quite good.

Gunbuster and Eva come close, but I'm going to have to hand the win to Shin Getter vs Neo Getter. It's what stopped me from giving up on mecha (in hindsight, watching Gundam zeta first was a horrible choice), it's got some radical action scenes, and on top of that I just get a profound sense of nostalgia from it despite never having heard of getter robo as a kid. I blame JAM project.

I can't really decide what my all-time favorite is. I liked all but three Gundam shows to varying degrees, and the rest of the mecha anime I've seen has been mostly the same. I guess I'll just go with Unicorn as my favorite, seeing as how I've watched it through six or seven times by now, but 0079, Zeta, 0080, X, SEED, and 00 are close. Outside of Gundam, my favorite would have to be Code Geass, with VOTOMS in second and Gunbuster in third (I just pretend the fifth episode is the end).

Turn A Gundam
I like the setting, characters, Turn A itself, and the animation. Gunbuster is a close second.

Heroic Age or Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere
I'm not very good at explaining my opinions so because I liked them the most out of everything I've watched so far.

It's really damn nice and the ending was satisfying. I didn't really expect much from it, but I ended up really liking it. It's kinda like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, if you have read it. You think you've seen everything, but it gets more and more bizarre and really makes you want to find out what the fuck is going on.

I ain't good at writing reviews and shit, but I really recommend you to pick it up again. It even gets more cool technical shit towards end.

The second season has some stuff going for it but I think it suffers from taking certain aspects literally whereas in the first season they worked better as implied subtext and less heavy-handedly beat into the audience. I prefer the first season by far.

Fafner. Very few works of fiction have made me care as much about the main cast as Fafner has, plus Exodus has just been fucking amazing. It's almost over and I'm still in disbelief that the series got a sequel ten years after the fact.

Gunbuster and Patlabor are high up there, though. If we're counting full franchises Gundam has so much content to enjoy too, but also some real shit mixed in.
