Why was this so damn boring?

I only watched one episode but couldn't care enough to continue.

The answer's written on it

Watch the movie version, I found it was less boring, albeit less fleshed out than the OVAs. Also, bluray quality. It's worth a watch just for that.

It's a fucking waste really, it does not even do a good job of explaining jack shit about Jamitov he just arrives points a gun and thats it.
>>13548499
I wasn't bored.

How many fucking times do we have to tell you to watch in PRODUCTION ORDER?

It really isn't with Harlock, there's no continuity between the series or movies whatsoever.
Literally every subsequent release retcons the previous one.

You watch 0083 for the animation, not the "riveting" plot.
On-topic, I love 0083. I'd say it's in the top 5 of Gundam.
I really enjoyed the battles, mobile suit designs and Men of Destiny is great.

OP that isn't a picture of War in The Pocket
>>13549935
No order whatsoever explains jackshit as the characters entire backstory is relegated to the novel and personal profile.

Reading comprehension? I said back story

I liked 0083. It's actually my favorite Gundam series. It's UC without the stupid newtype shit or teenage melodrama or 15yo Gary Stus. Also, the animation is great, it doesn't drag things out for 50 episodes, and it fits perfectly into UC timeline without a bunch of retconning.

Because you're some uneducated pleb failing to grasp the beauty of muh ideals.

0083 is a show carried by its production values. Getting past the first 3 episodes is the hardest part.

>I'd say it's in the top 5 of Gundam
I'm not even sure it could get into the top ten.
