You are just name dropping issues that we mentioned a thousand times in these threads without any logical pattern or further criticism.
One second you are complaining about animation quality, and the other over more subjective issues like how Topdad's redemption was handled.

I am just saying that the Shuttle scene was corny and stupid even for Symphogear standards, at it's core it is just mindless escalation to make things seem "epic", comparable to the entire second half of GL for example.
If I had to pick a defining moment for the series it would be the end of episode 12 in S1, or that episode as a whole as it also had Tsubasa's last stand which was a perfect way to demonstrate all the development she went though, or the supporting casting actually being useful and bringing support to Hibiki through their song.
I think what originally made Symphogear resonate with people got lost over dumb fanservice, yuri service, dumb epic shit as I mentioned previously or just lewd/moe stuff. The original series had these elements but the sequels going overboard with them.

Anyway, if you ask me about good scenes in GX, Maria's last stand with Black Gugnir, Hibiki's come back in EP4 (sans the obligatory and predictable jobbing at the end), and FIS fighting in the chapel among other is what comes to mind, not the Shuttle.

Liz is decent but for some reason she doesn't seem as heavy on damage. Maybe because better Territory Creation or Arts NP or more focus on her ATK stat or something.

Liz is probably only going to overtake Medea because of a higher max level cap and even then Rule Breaker is one of the best utility NPs you can ask for. I also have Caster Cu but he's more an anchor (other than my max level normal Cu who is simultaneously both my anchor and my Leader). By the time I dropped the Beast in Okeanos, only a poorly leveled Caster Cu was left and I managed to win it without Command Seals because Medea Lily can't hit for shit

Offense Focus is kind of required for me because I'm certainly not going to waste the only 5* I have.

That is the issue here. The Noise have no motivation to just "close in" when they can do their attacks like in >>13511152. They do not benefit at all from intimidation or hesitation since they are mindless automatons who have no concepts of such things beyond minute amounts of self-preservation, but it has been shown they will also carbonize with their victims so that self-preservation is only so they can attain that one goal.

Watch any Hollywood movie with a fight scene that is one vs many and you'll see that only ever one or two enemies attack at once and the rest are just standing idly by, making minor movements to seem like they're still doing something.
A big exception for this is the matrix reloaded, holy shit that neo vs mr smiths scene. Why can't Kaneko and his animators do stuff like that?

There's a difference in that, though. Take the action scene from Enter the Dragon where Bruce is in Han's spooky basement and there are a ton of people trying to fight him. They're all no-names so you know that Bruce is going to wipe the floor with them, but they aren't just standing around waiting to get their asses kicked. They're all going on a sweep through the area trying to find him which just so happens to be conveniently at a pace that matches the necessary choreography and they get knocked out so quickly because Bruce is just that good, but there are many moments where he's ganged up on. With people you also get the idea of common sense like, "Maybe it isn't a good idea to run in with a machete and try to cut this guy while he's grappling with my buddy."

Point is that decent writing can justify some of the necessary grunt idiocy because adding more bodies to combat scenes exponentially increases the difficulty of choreography. In animation it becomes even harder since they don't have an individual animator working on each separate Noise and moving it as they see fit to make it look more dynamic. At the same time they've reduced Noise to being so laughable against Gears that even the "Elite" Noise like Bushi or Baltan get reduced to cannon fodder. I think what's more important is to be able to make the Noise feel relevant, even just in simple ways like letting them be minibosses again or at least not be completely static. Noise fights in season 1 could be fun and interesting.
