I love Tsubasa.
She's often serious and rarely smiles, but when she does, she's really, really cute.
Sometimes she gets negative comments because of her bad attitude from S1, and because she's super cold and serious. But I always think she is misunderstood. Tsubasa has been suffering since she was a child, no one wants to help her, but when Kanade came, some of her suffering was relieved. But then, Kanade died. I'm sure she was really lost, but then she continued to fight against fucking large funny looking aliens that disintegrate people, alone. She seemed like a bitch that wants to hog all the fame from the victory, but I don't think that's what Tsubasa wants. She doesn't want anyone to die anymore. She doesn't want any casualties. Therefore she kept on fighting, even though she's mentally damaged, she kept on fighting, paying to heed to herself. She kept on fighting alone for years, and only God knows how many times she saw dead or disintegrated beings, people or animals/pets that she could've saved if she was a second earlier than the Noise. She has seen so much horrors in her life. And yet, she manages to be kind to the people who shows kindness to her, and tries to help everyone she can. Tsubasa is a very strong person. She can be weak at times, but that's because she's human.
I want to be at her side to be always there to protect her and support her.
I love you, Tsubasa.

Tsubasa is great for both hugging and being hugged by, I bet. Sure she's not as soft as Chris or Maria, but she's the type who would put a lot of emotion into a hug, make it tender and gentle and loving. The way they refer to them like they're actual living beings over the course of the show (and they probably are knowing Ryouko/Fine) leads to me to think so. Like how Hibiki notes Gungnir won't give her a response instead of it's not responding or something along those lines. Or how when they're sending power to Hibiki when she's facing Carol, they call out their gears names and tell them to do so instead of just, you know, doing it. The webm also shows Gungnir clearly responding to Hibiki. Why would she scream it's name in the middle of a battle for no reason?

Of course, nothings confirmed so chances none of that matters is also pretty high. I think it'd be a cool plot point they could make use of eventually though.

Yesterday my university's anime society was marathoning Symphogear so I thought I'd go along and see what they made of it. Jesus Christ, never again. Most people just thought it was shit because it's cliche, which I obviously don't agree with but I can see where they're coming from. The guy in front of me kept complaining about the singing being shit though, which is a pretty difficult case to make against fucking Nana.

Worst was the guy sat next to me who literally went on a rant about the "misogynistic fetish pandering costume design" and then spent the rest of the 5 hours watching Korra on his laptop because it "features a strong female protagonist who actually wears clothes".

Nana talked about Netsujou no Maria in Komuchatto Countdown yesterday. Komuchatto is a live radio show that Iguchi hosts along with Sakurai Takahiro. Nana came as guest to promote her album. Back in Symphogear live 2013 Iguchi left early because she had recording for the show.
