What is the A6M Zero of /m/?
MS6 Zaku.

/m/ here
What the fuck is an A6M Zero?
Apart from a plane, obviously.
>>13480148
You're no /m/an! You're an impostor!
Early-war unit that garners a fearsome reputation but is quickly outclassed by newer and better designs? Yeah, the Zaku would probably be an appropriate comparison, and possibly intentional given the model number and general Space Pacific motif of 0079. The only difference is that the Zaku isn't protected solely with tinfoil and NIPPON BANZAI.

Cheap, fast, lightweight, about as durable as a condom made from chocolate ice cream.
>>13480155
Come on Leiji, this is /m/, not /k/.

Well, it is alleged to be protected by SIEG ZEON instead
>>13480158
That's more like the Ohka.
>>13480210
But we already have the Ohka. In fact it's the King of Ohka.
>>13480210
For some reason i want to think it's more Kaiten than Ohka.
>>13480200
True, but the Zaku at least has super-steel armor to back that up, unlike the Zero.
If Zero = Zakus. Does that mean this:
A6M1 Zero Model 21 = Zaku 1
A6M5 Zero Model 52 = Zaku 2
A7M2 Reppuu = Hizack
What is the Gouf?
>>13480278
A blue Zero.
>>13480140
It's obviously the Zudah.
>>13480168
Fucking antimatter shells, man.
I love Reisen!
>>13480366

/m/ please...

I'm not sure if I love or hate it when the Japs make WWII references in their anime.
For one I think naming something the Type Zero is sorta lazy, but I also can't deny the linguistic beauty of the name.
>>13483710
Needs more WWI references.
>>13483710
I feel that 'Zero' is a rather appropriate name for something like a prototype or the very first production model.
For example, the combat cyborgs in Nanoha.
Ginga and Subaru were the 2 prototypes, they were called Type-Zero. Ginga was called Zero-First by Jail Scaglieti, and Subaru is presumably Zero-Second.
The other combat cyborgs were pretty much named with numbers.
Personally I think the original GM is a better equivalent for the Zero, since the GMs were basically just screen time fillers that got blown up by Rick Doms. Early on at least, we got to see Zakus put up some of a fight.

Fubuki
The big question is what is the F4U of /m/?
