Aila had invisible funnels, Meijin never really showed any particular defense against that beyond 'going fast'
Then again, I am biased for Aila.

What's the field?

If it's space, I don't think the Quebely Papillon could be beat. Counteracting the clear funnels would almost certainly require Fellini's strategy of making them visible.... if that were accomplished, Meijin would have done a quick trans am burst, shot them, and rushed in for the kill. Or waited until he took out all of the other funnels.

Given that the Amazing Exia is an Exia, I wouldn't be worried about Berserker mode. Between its natural agility and trans am, he should be fine. His Kampfer and Zaku would've been fucking wrecked, though.

I honestly don't think so. We saw the Meijin challenged to varying degrees over the course of Build Fighters, while Aila was pretty much invincible. I honestly don't know how anyone is supposed to beat her Particle Reading/Newtype ability without her essentially giving them a free shot like she did with the Build Knuckle.

The argument you can make is that Embodied Meijin bodied Reiji harder than Embodied Aila, but Sei and Reiji went in against Aila with a specific plan to beat the invisible funnels and were completely blindsided by how powerful the Exia Amazing was, so even then it's hard to say.

If the Meijin wins, it'd pretty much completely be on the back of the Exia Amazing being absolutely a-meijin-gu.

So I watched Try before BF and now have only just gotten back around to it. Holy shit this show is so much better than it has any right to be

The episodes have such a better flow being able to show off multiple fights, characters and a story. Try struggled to flesh out a character per episode and have one decent fight. Stuff is well set up and there is a decent amount of interaction between the notable competitors. It is really good at changing up the fights so it always feels fresh and will link in nicely with what the episode is about, and characters actually do learn and change from this unlike try.

I think most of all the show feels genuine. They took what should have been a syndical cash grab and really took care to make a good show. The characters aren't deep but I'd be lying if the Strike v Fenice fight didn't fill me with a lot of emotions

What happened there was that they used the RG system to overload her particle senses. She didn't just give them a free shot, they actively blinded her.

Which points even more strongly to her beating Meijin, since none of his gunpla had any comparable capabilities. He just wouldn't be able to land a solid hit.
