but the turn A was built by a civilization with 1000s of years of advancement, the g-self was built a few hundred years after an apocalypse by people who could barely understand the language of the blueprints. Also you have to remember it's implied the turn A had numerous abilities that were undiscovered by Loran (he didn't even know about the core fighter until late in the show)

I'm wondering why In gods name is the G first attacking a zaku during the era of post cca neo zeon.

Why in gods name is neo zeon deploying a zaku in the first place, its not like they have a shortage of zulu's, gaza's, Hi-zacks, and god knows what else. A Rick Dom would be better, a Galbandy would be better, but why in gods name are you fielding your basic ass zaku. Atleast give it a Rick Dom beam bazooka or use a high-mob or f2 or fz or even a fucking act zaku.
