Here's a general criticism of zeta in general, who the fuck thought transforming mobile suits was a genius idea to begin with? Big robots I can suspend my disbelief but when cost efficiency is taken to more extreme ends who can justify complicated, expensive transformation gimmicks like the baund doc/gabthley/asshimar?

I just don't understand the transformation gimmick in general or the odd design choices like the hambrabi or other animal looking MS

Why is what allowed? Taste? Style? Something that didn't come out of the Perfect Mobile Suit mold in your opinion(which smells like shit just like everyone else's)?
What don't you like about the Doc?
It's huge, so it can't be it's petite size.
It's pretty well armed, can't be that either.
It's color? That I'll give you, I don't like it either.
Other than color what's your problem with it? Can't something be different without garnering a plethora of hate just because you don't like it? There are those out there that DO like it and I bet if someone was to give you a REAL Baund Doc you'd jump right on it and fly away, probably killing yourself in the process.

The armadillo's ears are proportionally smaller and they're not pointy bits of metal. An armadillo is also not a bipedal animal whose shell hangs entirely off its waist. Don't be retarded anon. It's fine if you like it, those are just my problems with it, but don't be retarded.

You don't say. It's almost as if the artists who designed Baundy took some artistic liberties in making an armadillo into a robot! That totally never happens with any of the other animal inspired designs!

Baund Doc fans, everyone.

Funny how the Hamrabi's a more cohesive and clearly better thought out design than the Baund Doc, being an obviously stylized robot stingray that doesn't look haphazardly put together and remains visually reminiscent of its inspiration in both robot and mobile armor mode without having, say, a pair of giant prongs sticking out its head or an obvious shell transformation where it just hides its robot body under an oversized portion of its structure.

Fancy that. It's like you're being retarded trying to defend a design you like. And I don't even like the Hamrabi that much. The point was that if the Doc's ears were proportionally closer to an actual armadillo's, smaller and more rounded rather that pointy pieces of metal that jut out of the thing's head as if someone had stabbed them right in there, they might approach being okay. Which still leaves us with, well, everything else.
