All I can think of is those medic episodes in Turn A and how much better they are. Dianna struggles to be useful in and comes to realise how hard the world really is from actions. At the end though Loran helps with the turn a showing there is still hope for good things to happen. You need every fucking pair of hands you can get in a war even for something difficult like being a nurse, they would never turn her away.

Kihel from the start doesn't want to be a normal lady but someone who does stuff in the world. in the first 3 episodes we see her choose to go to university and take on various PA roles trying to find her place. Sochie is similar in joining the army and while not as good as Loran says she will keep trying, pointed out in those 3 episodes. Their parents aren't completely for these actions but they push on as are strong characters and want to find their place in the world.

Kudelia gets told by a manlet she is useless so doesn't do anything. She is made out to be weak and useless only good for her money as rich people don't get muh suffering orphan life. That is the actual resolution they come to, you'd have more of an argument is she was still looking for a place but that is actually what they had these 3 episodes lead up to.

So... Small tank-like grunts, ballistic weaponry, blunt weaponry,The chassis and general mech design, use of firearms, Characters who are simply fucked in the head, yet, as it seems so far, loyal to their own philosophy and group. (I'm actually kind of alright with the sisters and Kudelia's spaghetti as relief)

I'm liking this so far. Hoping things carry on like this. I'm in heaven.

Am I the only one who really hopes Biscuit gets a combat role later in the series? I know it's an almost sure thing He'll be planted on the bridge all the time in space, but if he turns out to be a really fucking good mobile suit pilot and shatters all the other kids' perception of him that'd be based.

Secondly, there's more than one perspective to this, and, well, what he's seen is this upper-class girl - bearing in mind his attitude towards people in the higher strata - bombard him with cordial sweet-talk and act like she understands him. Different eyes tell different stories, or whatever.

I believe so, or at least, it was about to. The space colonies were preparing for war and Garrod basically stops it when he goes into space. Also, there's an earth-based resistance fighting aganst the feddies.

I'm cautiously optimistic so far. There's nothing huge I dislike and there's the groundwork for a lot of things I could potentially like
