Also I'm almost certain the Aestivalis are a kind of parody of the grunt suit, because we're told their mass produced, yet we only see like 5 of them, they're hard to repair, they all have these super robot style different modules and upgrades, and can pull off super robot moves. Maybe I'm giving Nadesico too much credit though
