The metal build is cool (because add details and angular shape makes it particul and threatening), but the original is one of the saddest and most trivial gundam of recent time.

THIS is the worst design ever.
If this thing had been built in the real world I would have its creator and all those who let it be built executed for high treason.
This is what you'd would get if one believed that realistic mean "clusterfuck" and that practicality was a bad joke you do to others.

A full essay would not be enough to explain how horrible this design would be, even we put it against what mech-detractors would consider a realistic mech.

That's still terrible, but not nearly as bad from that angle. It might even not look like complete trash if you saw it head-on from the front, but the angle in >>12490952 really accentuates how much of a clusterfuck the shoulders are.

It's a bit flashy, but overall the design isn't too horrible. The main issue is the simplicity of armaments.

>Beam Sabers

Not very excessive, but gets the job done. How? All aspects of combat are covered, given that the pilot can use it to its full potential.

1. ZERO system gives the pilot access to all necessary information by analysing all aspects of the combat scenario
2. Weapons cover all areas, close quarters, mid-range, long distance. Also, the green colored sensors on the forearms are used to assist in aiming the Twin Buster Rifle, which is extremely high powered and can take down most, if not all, opponents with ease.
3. Wing Shields offer incredible defense, as well as they're independent of the arms, so they can't get in the way of movement.
4. Thrusters. Fucking. Everywhere. The body of the Wing Zero EW is lined with thrusters, which means they not only allow it to travel at great speeds, but they also can help to move limbs of the mech around at faster speeds than regular mechanical motion.

Is this the best designed mech ever? Absolutely not, however you can't say that it's the worst.

Sad thing is, take off all the extra gaudy bullshit, and the Valvraves actually have a pretty solid base design.

Personally I think the flappy-crest-thing looks really nice when there's only one or two of it. I like the arm guards and chest too, and the legs have a nice shape if you can look past the infuriating asymmetrical decal.
