Are the old kits still available?
I've been out of the gunpla game for awhile, and I'm looking to get back in it. I enjoyed the F-91 and Vidna Ghina 1/100 kits they had. Looked decent if you put some work into them.

It would be cool to one day get a proper F91 series.

Maybe only 25 episodes, but I think it could be good.

If there isn't a war going on, you use the same suit for thirty years. See: Jegan, Jamesgun, Javelin.

If you have a war going on, you shit out a new mobile suit once a week, and the first ten you build are used for maybe a month at best then dumped completely as you shit out shinier suits going from development to mass production in about four days.

0083 sort of throws the tech progression for a loop since the GM 2 and Hizack are supposed to be barely an upgrade over the GM 1. The Hizack can't even use beam weaponry.

The Federation proper used the GM 2 and and Hizack, GM 2 being a minor upgrade probably made out of GM parts they had lying around, and the Hizack because it was dirt cheap. They disassociated themselves with monoeyes after the kerfuffle that was the Titans, sold all of their Hizacks and built themselves a shiny new mass production GM 3 line.
