Man, I wish there were translations for Gihren's Greed.

There's two features I love in mecha games, creating machines from mix and matching parts like Armored Core and creating a pilot. Shame most mecha games have neither.

Appreciate one of the last PSP games brought to West.
Considering how niche Carnage Heart is, it's basically a Christmas miracle that they localized the whole thing.

A huge puzzle with chips and a grid for you to program a mecha. Sounds boring but it's incredibly fun and satifying when the damn thing finally works properly.

It's not as hard as actual programming, but it takes some time to master it. As some anon pointed out when the game came out, if you are a programmer you'll feel frustrated by the lack of options, then become a god in this game.

EXA has also a story of sorts, and the original audio is mute by default, but the player can change the options to hear cute japanese voice acting we all love.

So other than GvG and Battle Universe. How many of these games are playable without knowing japanese (or has a translation guide)?

Asking my own stupid question because it's semi-relevant. Is there any good /m/ game for the PS3 other than ZOE HD? I know armored core 4 and J-Day exist, but they're pricy.

All of them are playable, macross triangle frontier has a sim aspect that can give you trouble, there are many guides tho.
