It's definitely impressive, but I still think it looks odd and kind of ugly. The semi-sphere sitting on top of a complete sphere just looks weird to me, and gives it a really ungainly look. A more flatted out head shape that curved more across the top of the body or something would have looked better in my opinion, though I've no idea whether that would be practical to build in reality on the other hand. Or just a sphere bot, like a bigger Haro with a more robotic face or a digital screen face or something.

At Celebration today they announced DLC for the new video game that is the Battle of Jakku, which apparently takes place right after the Battle of Endor, and explains all the ship wreckage in the new teaser.

The opening crawl for The Force Awakens is gonna be really interesting, explaining how the Empire became the First Order, and how the Rebels are now the Resistance, 30 years later.

I'm getting interested in Star Wars battles. I've always preferred Star Trek to Wars but I also enjoy the Gundam Franchise as well. The empire seems sort of similar Zeon to me though probably a bit more cartoonishly evil.

What is some recommended watching/reading of star wars battles? Especially if I like the empire's stuff more?

I assume Battlefront II is still worth playing.

Yes. It's right up there with Rogue Squadron II.

Some of the historical campain mission objectives are kinda bullshit though. There's one stage where you start with only 20 men and have to hold a hallway for a minute and a half, but the computer has infinite men and they're grenade-happy. In some ways I liked the straight-up kill-em-all approach of the first Battlefront to the by-the-nose fetch quests and infinite suicide bombers of II. Also it doesn't make the play-as-a-Jedi quite as fun as Lego Star Wars, nor the fighter controls as well as Rogue Squadron, but it's a nice mix of the three. .

Fundamentally the Force Awakens contradicts the first three films and the nature of the force.

Darth Vader succeeded at bringing balance to the force. The destruction of both the Jedi Order and the Sith ultimately brought balance.

So unless the plot of the film is that Luke caused an imbalance, or that Ren caused an imbalance, the Force shouldn't awaken. Even then it's always there anyways, it's really there shouldn't be any jedi or sith.

I'm afraid to say how I feel about episode 7 because when I do, everyone assumes I hate star wars or not a fan of it but I honestly hated watching jj abrams star treks, all his other stuff was great bit star trek pissed me off.
