There's a features trailer out, but this segment is the new stuff
Its either Formula or Lailah for me. But honestly all of them really hits all the right buttons for me.
New video updated on the official website
Living under a rock here. Just how much did I miss?
So, which doll do you like the most?
I'd personally go with Formula or Inferno.
Wasn't the source for that rumor 4 chan though? I'm certain Nintendo hasn't said anything besides a vague 2015 for this game.
Though August is a good guess because I expect the release date to be announced at e3 so July is the earliest it can come out, with fall being more likely.
The fact that the framerate keeps up is quite an achievement in itself. The only catch is that the Bionis Left Shoulder map may be too much for the 3DS so no wonder why it was left out in this game. Not to mention that it would have required an investment in new enemies, voice actors and the like which all help to keep it out of reach.
We all do.
No, the wii version. Some people wanted it in for the 3DS.
It was shown in the ending movie, about the origin of Bionis.
Those areas don't look like they would give the 3DS too much of a problem. It's the town and the open field where I think the problems could come.
The Bionis Left shoulder was never part of the game because it was built by monolith as a test area. There's basically nothing in it, no npc, no monsters, etc. It might have been added if they had another 3-4 months to work on it and been place between Eryth and Valak, but there was no way it was going to be added into the port.
See it for yourself.
>It might have been added if they had another 3-4 months to work on it and been place between Eryth and Valak
And it would have make a much more natural progression as a mid point between the jungle and the sea. I picture it, had it made it into the game, as an area that you quickly pass at first
(because you are in a hurry to bring Melia back to Alcamoth)but then becomes a source of very high-level quests to uncover the mystery of the Giant race. Not to mention that the area could have been the place for another Super-Boss.
Unknown, at first I thought they were a primitive native species along with the Nopons, due to how some of them are dressed.
Then I saw the energy blade glaive
They're likely migrants like the humans and the goat people as well.
Dunno. But I want one on my party.
Nah, I'm pretty sure it was meant to be in the game. The water spout travelling to Eryth seemed a bit tacked on compared to using an actual area to get to the sea.
Plus, there is a whole town to explore in the removed area as well.
Has this been posted yet?
Have hope anon! You may get to pilot an old friend as the best doll.
Is so nice that they are translating these
The Xenogear designs are more likely to appear, one way or another, in this game. It's the Mechon Faces designs that are more unlikely to do so.
So is there going to be a supernatural element in this game like Gods and Demons?
It's not a proper RPG is you don't kill God at some point in it.
Be cool is each colony ship escaping Earth was carrying with it it's own "god" and after the crash one of the missions is to find the pieces of "god" scattered over the area or something like that..
>Formula, Light-class, speed focused
>Urban, Light-class, Excellent vehicle control
>Wels, Light-class, power of a Medium-class
>Lailah, Medium-class, Light-class mobility
>Inferno, Medium-class, well balanced
>Mastema, Heavy-class, Long range specialization
>Amdusias, Heavy-class, Melee specialization
What do you choose /m/?
...Instead of Mastema. And replace Urban with Lailah.
But Inferno, Mastema, and Urban still look pleasing regardless. Luckily we can buy all of them.
Anyone else think the Wels has rabbit ears? It's easier to see in other screenshots than this one.
Seems to be fairly high quality color customization, anf you have 10 or 12 different weapons to equip.
I don't know if parts of equipment can be added.
>>I don't know if parts of equipment can be added.
I can see internal parts begin replaceable even if they don't change the exterior of the frame.
Was it me or did they mention the possibility of 'skins' begin implemented in the future?
You mean exploration with mechs, or monster hunter with mechs.

And one Doll.
That's quite generous given how expensive Doll weapons and equipment is.
Story spoilers (light/medium).
that was a fucking telethia. 100% a fucking telethia. No connection to Xenoblade my fucking ass that's more than just a reference. Fuck.
>>that's more than just a reference
Dolls based on the Mechon Face design when?
> Urban abuse everywhere
I now have an urge to avenge my urban bros. By fucking over every boss with an orange urban.
>We won't be getting any information on a western release date until at east e3 in June
>The game probably won'y be released until November at the least, if it even is in 2015
>I will have finished college by the time comes out
What's wrong with that? I don't even have one, but I know I'll be buying more games for it besides this. Same with the other 8th gen consoles (waiting for FFXV).
That's to be expected. I wonder if they are going to add more to it via DLC or something like that down the line.
Again. I can't shake the idea that there are more areas out there. They could be there already or added later through a DLC.
There is a lot of indoors and underground for each area.
Also the Dengeki things talks about something beyond the borders of the map. Then you have the "star system navigation map" to boot.
I wanted this before. I mean, I really WANT it. But this music makes me feel like I NEED it.
Like, I don't know if I can even make it until launch, because not having this in my life is killing me.
>Turn on music
>Feel like I've been listening to it for 30 minutes
>It's only been 3
Just gotta hold out until E3....Just 54 more days. 8 weeks. 8 WEEKS!
Once Nintendo announces it's NA release is the day I'll put money aside for a potential WiiU bundle. There are other games I want for the WiiU, but this is the game I want from the system. It's like they made my dream game (aside from the combat, not that I dislike it).
Yeah, back about a year ago, when I got an actual job, I but money aside for a Wii U for Smash Bros, and a few other games which had been announced at the time (Hyrule Warriors, Splatoon, and Devil's Third) but mainly for Xenoblade X. This was right after they showcased it and threw out the japanese trailer. Now we're even closer to an actual release date, but I'm still extremely curious as to when.
But yeah, it looks like a lot of /m/'s dream game. Can't wait.
>everything so far
Goddamnit Nintendo, just give me the game. I can't deal with waiting an indeterminate amount of time.
Back at E3 2014, the game was announced, but Localization hadn't begun yet.
As of January 19, 2015, they released a tweet that said "Localization is making good progress", and it's still slotted for 2015, so there's an awesome chance we'll get it in November, which would also be the ideal time, as Nintendo needs to cover up for Zelda U's delay.
If the WiiU was region free I'd be tempted to import it just so I can play it in less than a week.
Oh well. At least Maximillian from the FGC said his friend is going to stream his copy, so I'll get to see the game.
I don't think it'll get the November slot, to be honest. I don't think they have that kind of faith in the series yet to give it the holiday slot, which is good, since that means we'll probably get it a little earlier.
>>Also the Dengeki things talks about something beyond the borders of the map.
I knew that it was odd for them to show 'all' the areas in the videos. There has to be more maps out there.
I'm more surprised at the artist doing art for Xenoblade X.
What's this? The HP raitings of the Dolls?
Make your own judgement from the information we already have. This is the compilation doc from Gessenkou and iYakku.
Frankly it is never a good idea to buy any console for one game. The smart thing to do is to wait until a console has a library of games you want to play on it. Wii U has games I want so I already have the console.
Best console to buy right now is PS3, free online and a massive library of games.
>Are we there yet?
I want Donkey to leave.
Seriously. Everything about it makes me want it more.
