Ideas too good to implement.

Next season will be Sekai after a timeskip, now he has a scar and wears metrosexual clothes. The girl on the team will be replaced by a third guy, but she'll be there as the "supporter" like Sei Iori or whatevs.

The new guy will specialize in trap attacks. No I don't mean he dresses as a girl and rips off the disguise once someone is inside him.

The enemy will attack him, and all of a sudden, they stop moving or parts snap. Then they have a 5 minute explanation of how because new guy moved past that one rock, he actually set up a small trap and you were lured into it the whole time. Then the guy yells or osmething and explodes. This will happen about three times, then the other 21 episodes all the fights with him will just happen off screen. Until the end, where he needs to give Sekai his energy to help him shoot a bigger Kamehameha to beat the boss.

How can people get into a show that revolves around gunpla? I just don't get it. Why would I even buy models from a show whose main characters play with the same toys? I buy gunpla to model the 'real' thing, not a model based off another model. Couldn't they have put the production efforts into a more serious themed show instead of kids playing with a line of toys to save the world? My mind can't comprehend the meta-fallaciousness of it all.

They weren't doing this, in either show. The world was never on the line. There wasn't even a villain as such in the second one, though the first had a guy trying to knock out our heroes because he thought one of them might expose him as a criminal.

And people enjoy it because stories don't always have to be super serious tales about saving the world. Sometimes folks just want something light and fun. Build Fighters wasn't preventing another super serious series getting made, just experimenting with something new and different in the franchise. If it hadn't been something along those lines, it'd have been something similar to AGE. And no-one wants that. Literally, in AGE's case.
