The process was described in interviews as using 2D to map the movements and then overlaying CG. Imanishi is experienced at directing CGI so not having to worry about motion capture must make the process go by very fast. I'd expect a longer wait for the final episode though, if they're going to show the entirety of Loum.

CDA is probably the thing that makes most sense after Origin (assuming Ikeda is still alive forgive me /m/ but Origin is just so slow that things I'd rather not think have been popping into my mind ;_;), but it would need substantial modifying in order to 'fit' with Origin.

Then again, if the remainder of Origin is a TV series like some above have suggested then CDA might well take the role of 'cursed Sunrise S2'.

Despite really liking the manga as a whole and even liking the 2D caracter animation in the OVA(which maybe Yas had a large part in), I kinda agree. Who knows though, they'll probably allow Yas to make whatever he wants after the Origin finishes since the first episode's really making some bank now.

Of course, I'm pretty sure that if Yas decides to make something new I'm guessing it probably won't be both Gundam or even mecha related. Who knows, we might finally even get that one movie adaptation of a novel of his that he shelved back in the 90's

In the original continuity the Federation already abandoned side 3 for years before Zeon Deikun was assassinated and the Zabis took over. In Origin they're still around and letting Side 3 drive around in armored cars shooting each other and shit for some reason.

In the youtube preview for this new episode in the OP Char seems to be a lot older than he was in the first, but then there's a shot of Ramba Ral getting into a bar fight with some Federation soldiers.

Amuro's eyes are one if not the most changing thing in the whole UC. They are:
-Dark brown (in the original series)
-Dark blue
-Light blue
-Gray
-Hazel (my personal fav, the most usually seen in YAS artwork)
-Green (I swear there're places in The Origin in which YAS colors them dark green)
-And now turquoise

No. Tomino already said he wouldn't do more episodes due to his age. It's probably for the best, as Gundam 2nd seasons are notably worse than their 1st.

Definitely not. We've known since the All Gundam Project and HGUC F91 Harrison's colors that we'd not be getting Crossbones because the shows are made to sell kits, and if the kits are already going to be on sale, there's no reason to make the show.
