Editor here, got the mediafire stuff and will be working on it when I'm free later this evening. Scans are looking great.

I'm not going to worry about unflipping the Viz pages, since it's a lot of work to do just to please a few weebs, and it's a moot point once we get wideban scans.

Yes. That way it can, at least, be released as a "scanlation" and people can read it. It wouldn't hurt to maybe get some TL-checks, but I'm not counting on that. Haven't even found an interested translator.

The public ones are 1200px garbage, so I'll scan the widebans myself. This isn't a priority of mine right now, though, so don't hold your breath for weekly releases or something.

The length of the remaining volumes + having to consult a military dictionary every so often probably puts them off. I hope that releasing these chapters gets some interest. If all else fails, I can just commission a translation of the next chapter. Dunno how much that'll cost, though.

We don't have a translator; right now, the plan is for me to take Viz's translation and put it onto scans of the Japanese wideban release.

Hopefully, begging for a translator will cause someone to come out of the woodwork, but nothing's set in stone yet.

For example, I didn't liked Ace Combat for PC. Seriously, one of the worst console ports ever. Controls are fucked and I can't make my plane turn whereever I want to. That lack of gamer's freedom makes me sick.

I was playing with joystick and it was quite hard to aim my cannon. And these key bindings were changing every ten minutes. And I couldn't dive while being upside-down. Such artificial barriers are killing the fun. I haven't found where to turn them off. And I couldn't bind the engine power to a joystick wheel (or however this thing is called).
Maybe I'm comparing elephant and whale, but War Thunder has much more comfortable controls, which are sometimes doesn't need to change.

Still trying to find out which Animerica issues that I'd need to buy. So far, I've learned that ANIMERICA V2 #1 (1/94) contains AREA88 Part Two: Mission 2 "Beneath The Scarlet Sands, Part Two. I have no idea what chapters that corresponds to, as I can't find a convenient list of all the chapter names.

Otherwise, I might rescan the earlier issues to replace the shitty scans that are floating around. No ETA on cleans yet, so if he's lurking, he can answer that instead. Waiting on a store to restock Area 88's v1 (JP).
