Kinectic weapons across the map isn't necessary unless its sola who can pull that off with awaken.

Torpedos aren't hard to get in with a wave of missiles and flak off before hand especially if you have chigara at 120 en.

I defeated the nightmares in two turns, but I ran out of command points to heal and Liberty got rekt so I died in the enemy phase.

lasers weren't that bad if they were outside of shields. I used them with the alliance cruisers to hit targets with high evasion.

On the sunrider there wasn't much of a point of pushing lasers because after shoving tons of money into kinetics they could make the difficult shots and if lasers were ignored to focus on the weapon with more potential.


I was asking about the public demo I think 4.2, because flack was less effective and the battleships fired torpedoes.

I normally lasted 2-3 turns.

I think there are 3 command decisions in the story so far, they cost around 300, 50, 2000 off the top of my head.

There will probably be new ones in part 3 but it seems safe to sell.

They don't. Higher buffs are supposed to override lower ones, though there was a bug where any new buff overrode the old one regardless of value that I'm not sure they've fixed yet.

In my first playthrough of both part 1 and 2, I had 100+ saves due to save-scumming.

Download the zip and dump the contents in the /game subfolder and either start fresh or reload the previous save and use the debug button on the research screen to reset research and update the upgrade paths.

Features neat updates such as 50% more effective energy damage upgrades, missile spamming Sunrider and carrier spawned ryders staring with 0 energy making carrier missions a little easier.

Well, the way they fucked you up in part 2 was by introducing stuff you had but they didn't, like ships with rockets, support ryders and assault carriers.

The battleships in part one originally had rockets in the very early version of the game.

support ryders and assault carriers were difficult to deal with early on in part 2 but near the end they were needed.

increased flak and range of shields starts to render mooks and bombers near useless.

Most capital ships can be taken down in one turn if they get close enough for kinetics.

what would really make part 3 obnoxious would be giving ships short range warp.

Kill the units closest to you and keep your units bunched together for increased flak/shielding. Simply let them run into you and not the other way around. Full forward is more effective for this strategy.

The Legion needed to get vanguarded right down it's center as it was charging it's own main cannon to completly kill it but the Sunrider lost it's systems during the fight to weaken it's supporting fleet and the Legion's own defences. You get to decided if putting it in space dock for months and obliterating it's fleet was good enough or to risk it all in a final kill.

It's Kayato's White Whale HOLY GRAIL moment. It's a tactically sound decision since the entire operation during that arc was for taking down the Legion but Kayato was also constantly pushing for it despite the status of the Alliance fleet. Things probably should have also switched over to just chasing off the Legion and it's supporting fleet for the giant blackhole mcguffin.

Also since their school days Ava's always been a by the book kind of person, school council, being military like her dad, MUH REGULATIONS and Kayato's always been her way out of that and just be a person. He didn't quite get the hint when he got his dick wet and lost her to military life. Now it's happening all over again this time with her doing the "right thing" at a critical moment. She's being the perfect executive officer, ready to throw her life away for the greater good when all she really wants is for Kayato to tell her no.

Letting the Legion slip away arguable leaves you in a better condition with dealing with the real threat, maskfuck and the mcguffin what with PACT looking like they're doing a heel-face turn.

Replicating might not be insurmountable but it may be expensive enough not to bother.

It could have been expensive as a fleet or their dedicated superweapon team could have been working on diode bomb mk2.

It could go either way, but I would think with how it was apparently impossible for an entire alliance fleet outfitted with the most powerful kinetic weapon in the game to be able to destroy the legion another one would be worth it.

it's not that they are inferior, but is more a case of Quality vs Quantity, while quality can win with little effort againt the other units, when you are facing like 10 of each class at the same time, with extras more when you think is going to be over with limited thing like missiles, yeah quantity wins this time.

But that's part of the beauty of the gameplay, you really need to know what you are doing with those specials snowflakes to win against those horde of enemies, in a way a true Turn-Based Tactics game.

Well, Blackjack and Liberty were thrown together by a mad scientist in a patisserie, Phoenix was heavily modified over the years from whatever it was, Seraphim was an ancient scout ryder lacking maintenance and I got the impression that Paladin was an Alliance bomber ryder with more armour and a bunch of cruiser gun turrets strapped haphazardly to it. Bianca is just weird though, It's a bizzare looking ryder with unusual equipment operated by some horny quack doctor in the middle nowhere who just happens to be able to afford space travel and knows about an Ryuvian ship graveyard lost for years.

Acually, Claude is really fucking suspicious, come to think of it.

The best way to do it is to either make it impossible or to build it into the system itself. The TO: Let Us Cling Together remake did that. Had an actual button for save scumming.

There is the diode in the current time they were more than capable of making a similar weapon the awakening wouldn't be necessary.

Awakening was part of the royalty so I was guessing it checked for genetic engineering present to fire.
