Are we ripping characters straight out of their universes and plopping them into Build Fighters? If so then the newtype pilots pretty much have this in the bag. All of them are good pilots plus have psychic space wizard bullshit.

All of the AU pilots have gimmicks that would either get them banned for tampering with the machines or are reliant on gimmicks that are suit based.

Even though the FX is the most advanced machine in the series, he still had to be at least decent in order to slice with those funnels so accurately, kind of like Kira when he disables things without using Beamspam.

But yeah, now that that's cleared up, I agree. Flit would be an absolute monster of a fighter in GBF verse. He'd probably figure out how to fuck with Plavsky particles extremely quickly considering he worked with the AGE System that's mysterious and vague as all fuck, he'd know how to design the gunpla itself well since he designed the AGE-1 itself personally, and then throw on top of that a ton of piloting experience over the years and natural talent, you have a top tier contender.

Without being able to reprogram the system, without being able to utilize a computer assistance program, and without being able to have objectively the best suit in the tournament Kira is pretty much fucked.

The fuck are you talking about? When he learned to teleport he didn't see shit he just moved too damn fast and produced after images. The guy is so scrub right after he gets the 00 in S1 he gets 1v2'd by Ali in Zwei 1.5 despite having the superior machine.

Setsuna gets carried by his Gundam way harder than Kira ever did. He's consistently one of the worst pilots in the series right up until the end if you consider the massive difference between his suit and everyone else.

Asemu Asuno. In his first battle ever, with no training, he took out two advanced enemy mechs an entire generation ahead of his by dual wielding and doing shit like using the severed arm of his enemy to kill the other enemy. In his second battle he did a 360 noscope and killed two guys at once. Later on he's able to annihilate people who basically have Aila's ability, running on just his talent and using an outdated suit that is also inferior to his original suit.

He is pretty busted.
