Hey /m/ates, I'm looking to watch Tetsujin 28-gou 2004 but I can't find any working links. No torrents have seeders or anything. Does anyone have any alternative links or places they could point me to to download it?

Thanks for your time

Ignore the 500. Don't put that in the bakabt link.
>>
>>11401661
Thanks mate. I'm getting some error where it won't find peers for whatever reason. I read I should downgrade to an older version of uTorrent. going to try that.

I thought I had the episode digitally. I don't remember deleting them but they seem to be gone. I have the DVD's still at least. Hopefully someone else here could seed this as I want some of that action too.
>>
>>11401723
Yeah, it looks really cool and I've recently started consuming a lot more mecha content than usual and feel like I need to see this.
>>
>>11401708

BakaBT has a torrent client whitelist.

Always remember that when you're having downloading trouble there.
>>
>>11401767
I just figured it out. You guys are my heroes.
>>
Be sure to grab the OST too.

Shall we make this a Tetsujin thread then?
>>
Hi /m/, sorry but I'm a bit new here. How is the original series and what are the best anime adaptations of this series? [spoilers]That being said, I just have to say this board seems very chill, no one has a plug up their butt (/a/), and everyone seems very friendly! There also seems to be no shitposting, it's like an unknown island free from the world. I apoligize for being off topic I just really wanted to say you guys seem really cool[/spoilers]

>How is the original series
You tell me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJK6xlG5Y8U

>best anime adaptations of this series?
Most commonly accepted to be the 2004 adaptation by Imagawa.
>>
>>11401641
>>11406362
1960s series looks better but 1980s series should ne the Most Commonly accepted and enough with 2004.

I thought the same thing when I first started browsing /m/ a few months ago.
There's plenty, but it's nowhere near the scale of any of the major boards. Just don't start a thread about anything made within the last year or two. Or Gundam SEED. Or Code Geass. Or a particular line from the end of Char's Counter Attack. Or where you should start reading/watching Getter Robo.

Oh jesus that opening, thanks man

Understood, thanks for the advice.

Tetsujin 28th 2004 is a must watch for /m/, but only a few actually watched it.

/m/ has too much shit taste especially with titles like vulvarape and seed. You people claim to hate those, and yet you wouldn't shut up about them.

You're only generating hype for anime that don't deserve it.

Fun fact: the voice actor for Big Fire was also the voice actor for Komei in the Giant Robo OVA. He took the role in that because he's an enormous Yokoyama fan, in particular of Tetsujin 28 itself. When Imagawa phoned him up to play Big Fire in the 2004 series he was over the moon. His enthusiasm in the role is infectious, just listen to him chew the scenery every scene he's in.
>>
>>11412092
I actually curious why Yokoyama named TWO things in separate works Big Fire.

At least it vaguely works as an evil organization name, but as a person? Eh...
>>
>>11407132
Praising good stuff is boring.
But there's always new and exciting ways to tell something is shit, and if someone says it isn't entirely shit telling said person his taste is shit.
CHOO CHOO ALL ABOARD THE FUN TRAIN

>/m/ has too much shit taste especially with titles like vulvarape and seed.
But anon, I've been watching Tetsujin all day.

All that and he did a good job of making me hate the guy too.

That's game is awesome. That just needs to be said.
>>
>>11415467
Besides the 'bots, how does it differ from Robot Alchemic Drive?
>>
>>11415483

It is much faster, and much harder(should you choose higher difficulties).

You move the robot with the left stick(forward, back, turn left right), block with L1, and fight with the face buttons. When you get near an enemy, you lock on passively, and double tap to side-step(actually works). Square button is left side, circle is right, triangle is special attacks, and x is pickup(items to throw or fight with, and grapple a dazed enemy). All attacks are negative-edge: the longer you hold a button down, the heavier the attack(this is visually shown with a colored light on-screen). Stringing combos kinda works like RAD where the trick was knowing when to start the next attack so you'd be completing the motion at the end of the current attack. The result? With practice, you can string Tetsujin to do a left-right-left-right hook volley that sounds like John Henry driving a railroad spike, and without stopping shoulder-charge the enemy backwards, jump as they're still flying back, and drop an Inazuma kick on them as they slide on the ground. All the while, it still feels heavy, massive, and awesome.

Seriously, I love RAD for its ambition and camp, but this may be the best mecha game Sandlot ever made. Import that shit NOW.
>>
>>11414610
Dr. Big Fire in Tetsujin came first. Seriously, that's just his name, Big Fire. Yokoyama liked the name so much he just reused it for the villain faction in his original Giant Robo manga.
>>
>>11415623
How does the Giant Robo PS2 game compare?
>>
>>11406392
Only the English dub is available for both, though.
>>
>>11416259
Korean video websites have the original dub with Kor. subtitles. Try using the Korean name of the series.

Never played it. But that GR one wasn't made by Sandlot, it was made by Hikaru-Pro. Every gameplay video I've seen makes it look really bad, like there's no combos or something.

>>11406362
That opening is fucking amazing, no one can say otherwise.

Well it was a stage play, so outside of performance recordings I doubt we'll see anything off it.

So I've heard that David Bowie's Space Oddity plays during the finale to the whole Kelly story, does anyone know where I can see this?

Hehe if only. No, that doesn't happen. Someone was fuckin with you

Damnit, just about all the arcs in Tetsujin 28 are soul-killing.
