Gomora is best Ultraman.
>Mechagomora is actually a good Gomora who was brutally tortured and mutilated into metallic cyborg.
>>11089608
Part and parcel of being a Gomora is the perpetual suffering.
>>11090216
At least he wasn't beaten like Rodney King
>>11089291
Dumbass. Godzilla is obviously the best Ultraman of all time.
Blasphemers
>>11092333

Pick one.
>>11092352
>Gomess will bever befriend Jirass
>>11092874
They're befriending each other.In hell.
>>11092915
Someone really should put afence around the monster graveyard.
Does Turner still own their Ultraseven dub? That seems like something that could be on Adultswim's late block.
>>11093671
They probably still technically have it but their broadcasting rights may have run out.
>>11092352
Jirass was one of my favorite ultra kaiju.
>>11093999
> Edgy Jirass
Absolutely disgusting.
>>11094017
idk anon. It's rather neat. I like it.
>>11093999
>Poorly forshortened arm
>Left leg just kind of floawing there
>Tail's attachment to the body isn't well defined
Matt's a nice guy. I hope he finds time to improve his art skills.
>>11094600
Considering that was back in 2009 he probably has.
Gomora 2 return when?
>>11095052
NEVAR!
>>11096782
Not even a little?
>>11095052
No.
NEVER.
No, Big O is best Ultraman.
>>11093671
They replaced the stock-footage they used for the
Joel Hodgson interview on the ‘Space Ghost Coast to Coast’ DVD, so probably not. Either that or maybe they're just restricted from using it in DVDs. I don't know.
Strawberry is best Ultraman.

Strangely enough: http://video.adultswim.com/space-ghost-coast-to-coast/space-ghost-goes-mst3k.html

Hanuman is best Ultraman
>>11103132
Is...is that's supposed to be Gomora?
>>11103210
I dunno. I'm not that good with Ultraman monsters. I can spot Baltan, Pigmon, a few others.
>>11103210
Welcome to Thailand.
>>11103225
Dear God, what the hell? That isn't like super expensive, is it?
>>11103241
I have no idea what the market for Hanuman crap is.
>>11101751
It's like some kind of weird /m/ related hattrick.
>Ultraman was space cop
>Ultraseven was a mapmaker for the space army
I wonder what they Ultra-Black-Ops are like.
>>11103301
Extra points for whoever can hit Taro right in the face.
>>11103364
Nobody has figured it out and lived to tell the tale.
>>11103409
Ultra Black Ops are dispatched when an Ultra goes rogue. They're an elite force of superkaiju who have the power of light, "M78 Angels", like Hells Angels but M78 nebula.
They were in that show about the mad scientist who got control of an Ultra and started cloning an army of them to wipe out all life on Earth, .
>>11103473
>Father of Ultra has a team of specially selected, aliens and Kaiju that he dispatches to fight the baddest of the bad in the worst way possible to keep evil alien races busy battling eachother.

So where the fuck were they when Belial came back?
>>11103473

Well, that made me smile.

Don't they reproduce by mitosis by now?
>>11103910
They did.And then Ultraman started doing it too.
>>11103940
wut
when
>>11104028
Never.
It just turns out that he lives on a planet with similar looking people.
>>11103728
Grandpappy Gomora looks pretty OK with this.
>>11104313
Looks like Red King tried to dye himself so that he could actually be red, but something went wrong.
> On episode 15 of the original Ultraman.
> Cap literally rejects an idea for being too dull.
Oh Ide. You should have known better than to suggest a plan that doesn't involve bombing the monster.
>>11107499
Where find episodes?
>>11107499
> Implying Science Patrol only blows up monsters
Ehh, they've done crazier.
>>11110397
amazon, hulu, should be pretty easy to find
>>11110821
It's got to be a wonderful feeling to get paid for a job loke that.
>>11111019
Then you have to deal with a kid sidekick all the time
>>11111080
Hoshino isn't too bad. At least he's not Kenny.

Alright. Just hugely impractical ideas in general.
>>11112981
As good as any at that time.
What do you suppose the writers come up with, USS Enterprise?
>>11112986
I dunno. I'm just saying it wouldn't hurt to take the subtle route that won't risk casualties.
>>11112986

It's really off-topic, but it reminds me of this show called Megas XLR, where the protagonist Coop finds a unique way to deal with a planet eating monster. He uses a combination of poprocks and soda to make it explode

Prepare your sandcastles puny humans! This for abducting me!
>>11115671
What's the story behind this Godzilla with literal frills? I've seen it in manga before.
>>11116084
Tsuburaya modified an old Godzilla suit and put it in an episode of Ultraman.
They did the same thing prior to that in Ultra Q.
>>11116084
Eiji Tsubaraya worked on Toho's Godzilla movies, so Toho gave him their blessings and they helped out with his 1966 show Ultraman. Part of that help involved Toho "loaning" out their suits fo Eiji to use. Eiji took an old Godzilla suit (64) and gave it 67's head. He also added yellow paint and a frill to make a new monster called Jirass. I hear some people cry out with cheap special effects, but it depends on your view.
>>11116150
Neronga and Gabora were also made from Baragon's suit, I think.>>11116084
>>11116163
You make due with what you have, but I thought that this was more a case of like, a "super" Godzilla or like a regal, OP as fuck Godzilla.
The more you know.

>>11116661
I'm sorry anon, but I'm afraid my hands are full at the moment.
>>11116244
Baragon was possibly the greatest actor of his generation.
>>11117467
Careful anon you might rustle someone Harou Nakajiimies
What is it about the first generation of Ultra-monsters that seem to make them stick around when the creatures from Tiga or Gaia never seem to stick with people?
>>11122265
They stick better in the minds of people who are just casually aware of Ultraman. Tsuburaya has done a lot to really keep them in the spotlight too.
>>11122265
I personally like the monsters from newer Generations because they kick creativity up a notch and the suit effects are much better.
IMO, there is at least a dozen or so monsters per series who are so cool that I bother to remember them. I.E. Mizunonoeryuu from Gaia
>>11123988
> Dragon tsunami
10/10 would let it destroy Tokyo
>>11122265
Nostalgia googles, man.
>>11122265
To be honest, I think the non - stop reuse of old monsters has kind of cheapened their impact.
>>11124538
The original intent was to draw a bigger crowd after Nexus got screwed over, but the bad writing of Max fucked it up
>>11124562
...I liked Max.
>>11124582
And so you do.
Eh.
>>11124942
It's not the best thing ever, but I enjoyed it.
Old monsters showing up in Max was cool, Mebius was cooler, and from then it started to get kinda old.
>>11116244
>>11116168
>>11124979
i loved it. it felt like Tiga in how it was basically a fresh Ultra series
>>11125960
>fresh
>reusing old monsters
That is a paradox, son
>>11126035
Max had a lot of new monsters too.
>>11126035
Compared to how many new monsters they had? And that's not counting the redesign of Eleking. Max had a lot of new monsters.
Unlike Mebius and every series after.
The only new monster so far is Spheradon.
