Hey /lit/,
The last three books I read, I didn't finish, I just lost interest after 100 pages, can you recommend me an interesting & captivating book (last book I finished was : Puzo's Godfather) ?

Nineteen Eighty-Four
Siddhartha
Most Cormac McCarthy Novels
Also don't limit yourself to 300-page books. As long as the book captivates you, youll keep reading it

I guess you're talking about Hesse's novel, which was written in German, what translation should I choose ? ( I left the other two propositions out since I read (& listened to Frank Muller's audiobook which I recommend ) 1984 & I read The Road in Middle school )

Can't think of anything off the top of my head. Middlesex was the most recent book I read that was extremely hard to put down until I finished. You should seriously give it a shot; I think it will hook you. It's not a chore to read a seriously good book.
