I read the first two and they seemed fine. I don't know Polish so I can't really "compare".

They're fine, some polish humor is lost in translation, but it probably wouldn't be noticeable without knowing about it in the first place

First read The Last Wish then Sword of Destiny then stop, it's not worth reading any further trust me. The drop off in quality is made very apparent in the other Witcher books.
