Is there really any more (bigger) meaning other than bureaucrats/justice system/banks will fuck you over in this story?
The neighbor girl?
The enormous buildings?
The government facilities being in the attic and basements of all buildings?
His struggles at the bank?
The neighbor girl?
Is his final judgment supposed to be judgment by God?
The girl of his attorney?

I was able to get only so little out of this story even though it seems to be loaded with deeper meaning.
