I AM THAT I AM
Firstly I AM implies that he exists.
Second, no reality exists beyond Him, his personality and power are owing only to himself and no other.
This also implies that he does not change, since he is determined by himself alone.
>I Yahweh do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. (malachi 3:6)

He also means to show there is objective truth. We may desire Him to be a certain way or feel that he can't be what some people say, but what we feel or desire does not make God what he is. I AM WHO I AM.
This then implies that we must conform to God. He is who he is and is not who we make him out to be, so we must conform to him.

Lastly it implies that this infinite, absolute, self-determining God has drawn near to us in Jesus Christ.
