'Another One Please, to Dull the Pain'
I know the title is a bit melodramatic, but it fits the story. Here's a link where you can download it for free.

Or, if you're feeling generous, you can buy it for about a dollar US (around $1.25 Canadian or Australian) here.

Yeah it's mine, technically shilling I guess, but you can stick to just the free version. I wrote the novella during a very stressful 5 days, with over half of the book being written within a 24-hour period. If you're not a writer, let me tell you, that is A LOT of writing for just one day. I've been told there's a couple grammatical errors here and there so I'll have to give it an edit sometime but it shouldn't be too bad, my 1st drafts are generally very clean. Anyways, it deals with alcoholism, an absolutely terrible marriage, domestic abuse, male suicide, how divorce tends to really fuck-over men, and it does not have what I would call a happy ending. If you check it out OP (or if anyone else here does), I'd appreciate some feedback for it however only if you feel like it, especially if you've been through divorce. One fellow read it who loves my work and he's been through more than just one divorce. It brought back some bad memories, but he said it in a complimentary way, even if it's an unfortunate compliment to get. You can contact me at [email protected].
