You're reading for the look. Next, you're going to want to buy books with provocative titles written by well-known authors. When you want to get into more advanced levels of pseudery, you'll want to get into pretending to read literature. Get yourself a copy of any book off of the /lit/ recommended "door stopper" books, open it up smack into the middle, and flip the page every now and then. Bonus points for staring into the page intently. Look up from your book every few minutes and pretend to contemplate what you've just read.
