I prefer getting a sloppy blowjob from my gf while reading her poetry but that's just me

It's not as good as posting about it on an imageboard full of strangers.

reads like gaddis when hes not trying to be edgy, also like ishiguro in terms of characterization and dialogue. its alright. sort of a collection of short stories written about memories he had of his friends. throughout his life he was trying to project himself onto them and have an effect on their life. he writes together a bunch of chapters on certain people and then has them write letters back to him. i dont want to spoil anything. but basically mcelroy asks if we are the people we think we are. since we are only basing that off of our memories of other people can that even be trusted. are your memories and interpretations of those memories correct or trust worthy. its making me question myself which is nice. its not his best book though. very slow at some points. some chapters fall flat.
