Anything advertising itself as "basic economics" should be viewed with suspicion. It's the same reason why I'll never read Economics in One Lesson. I just don't trust it.

I didn't know anything about economics but this far the book delivered what the title promised.
You won't wreck the stocks with your newly aquired knowledge but you'll get a basic idea about how shit works.
