When I interviewed for a winter position in a bookstore while in university, the store manager asked about a time I'd recommended a book to someone and how I convinced them to read it, I chose this one to talk about. It never happened, I've never recommended this book to anyone. Felt like an odd range of questioning (not just that one, but the interview as a whole) for a position that lasted 3 months, I suppose that's why I'm not managing a chain book store right now I guess.

Suffice to say, CfL, did not help me get the job. I'm glad, because working the Christmas rush in retail is just the worst.
