I recently found out there's a reading club in my town. I'm pretty sure it's filled with normies and pseuds, although there might be intellectual cuties. I'm disgustingly introverted.
Should I go? Have you ever been to one? Is it an enjoyable experience?

Go and check it out. If it's not for you at least you tried anon. Fight the introversy.

Yes, Yes, No.

Try it out at least and try to become more extroverted.

You should definitely go. Why turn down a chance to expand your horizons? You can grow intellectually by talking about new books and emotionally by interacting with potentially cool people. You could recommend a new book each week and slowly show your level by showing you like normie stuff, then more intense reading every so often.

I say you should check it out. If you don't like it, you can just not go again. At least you will have tried it. Try not to look at it as a normie thing. It's good to expand your horizons outside of /lit/ every now and then. People talk about good books here, but that doesn't mean it can't get narrow minded. Let us know what it's like.
>tfw the last time that you were at a book club was just a bunch of teen girls talking about twilight
