How do drugs affect your writing, /lit/?
badly

I've never done a drug I could write to.

I only write when I'm on benzos and something else. So I almost never write. I don't know why that happens.

If writing on acid feels any different from writing sober then you have no talent and should quit.

xanax is a shit-tier drug
>feel numb and forget everything for 8 hours
soooo much fun
Hookers and peyote for the first draft. Coffee, exercise, and plenty of sleep after that for making the shitshow turn pro..
Depends on the drug.

Dose correctly for focus and comfort
"Alcohol is such a shit drug, you just black out and throwup everywhere

OP, xanax is nice but alcohol and nicotine (maybe raw opium) are the only literary drugs
All drugs can give you is an experience.
>Coked out night talking on the sidewalk to some other coked out dude you just met
>Drunk fighting/fucking
>Smoking outside a party after getting your heart shat on
>Being in a xanax fuzz and just laying in a backyard and staring at the moon for a while
>Being stuck on a boat because the shrooms hit when you were in the middle of the lake and the two of you have forgotten how to operate a motorboat
Drugs can enhance the human experience and add humor or imagery or whatever.
That being said, don't write on drugs. Sure you can have a beer on the table while you type some stuff out, but don't think "First drink. Second write." or any other variation. As inspired as you may feel after a coupled drinks, I promise you're more clear headed when sober. You'll end up thinking you need it to write.
