Well, perhaps the fellow credited with its 'invention,' Alfred Adler. His general overview of his 'individual psychology' is as good a place to start as any. Much on superiority\inferiority complexes. Pretty much the same thing, actually. In Adler you'll find both Freudian and Jungian motifs, but the s\i complexes are pretty much his own baby.
