kek. I really gotta read that book

He's like Joyce, but mediocre.
>>

this scene is underrated. Pudding has a scat fetish due to his time spent in the trenches at passchendaele. It's actually sorta beautiful.

Godly book btw, don't listen to the memelords who haven't actually read it.
>>
>>9927054

Anymore books like this?

Asking for a friend.
>>

What a fucking hack. Glad I'm never gonna read this trash.

When I first came onto /lit/ I got memed into reading Ulysses, was so blown away I immediately ordered the other 2 of the meme trilogy. Wasted weeks of my life on the sporadic zany juvenile garbage in Pynchon and Infinite Jest (reddit the book ). It took over a year for me to respect this boards opinions after that

/lit/'s only ever memed me into reading a few books, and they were all ones I liked the concept of before reading them. I guess it always comes down to reading what interests you.

I hope you learned your lesson OP
>>

Isn't it ironic that people think this book is one of the greatest ever written while at the same time calling GRRM a hack writer because he has vulgar scenes that are far tamer than this.
>>
>>9927054
wtf I love Gravity's Rainbow now
>>
>>9927391
I never understood why Pynchon and DFW are considered the same level as Joyce here (or even higher). Ulysses is the only book that deserves its place as part of the /lit/ triad.
