Is this shit any good?
I have an upcoming history exam thats gonna largely cover world history 1750-1945, but its in norway, so its probably gonna be euro-centric, particularly concerning scandinavia
any other reading-suggestions would be greatly appreciated

the treaty of kiel in 1814 is always important, how the declaration was signed at Eidsvoll and Norway-Denmarks fighting on Napoleons side under the napoleonic wars and being Norway being seceded to Sweden after the end of the war then to gain full independence in 1905
Also a Coup de´at by Vidkun Quisling in 1940 allying Norway with the Nazsis.
Those are some key points,

didn't he write that big ass history of poland?
i only got like two pages in but it starts with a part how pagan poles wouldn't marry a virgin because they figure if no one fucked her yet she must not be very desirable, i'm like old school poles were on some shit man

awesome, thank you!
im already fairly well-versed on most of this (except the treaty of kiel 1814), but im going for a guaranteed A, so im hoping theres some books about all of european history even before and after the relevant events

well, i know hes polish-british, and i knows theres some controversy regarding his refusal to focus 100% on antisemitism concerning the leadup to WWII. or something. im pretty sure its just dumb jews overreacting, but i could be wrong

History of Norway by John A Yilek might help you.
>>9922905
i read that its pretty superficial & not really in-depth. some 100 pages a tourist would read before visiting. or am i completely off? ill check it out some more regardless, because i could be completely wrong

Worlds Together Worlds Apart fourth edition might also help you, it is world history, but it covers a lot of european history in general so it might be helpful?
>>9922927

Yeah I was buying the book in OP's pic when I stumbled on that history of Poland. Ended up buying the 2 vol set for $40 on abebooks as I'm Polish and haven't found anything even nearly as extensive on Poland before. Kind of went out on a limb since I was also buying Davies' history of Europe at the same time; hoping he isn't a fucking hack.
