I collected these vigorously as a preteen/teenager. Then at one stage the bookstore stopped stocking pic related designs and sold only editions with a completely different designed cover. I don't know if Red Fox just stopped publishing these but their designs were far superior.

Well it wasn't the bookstore's fault. The publisher Red Fox one day out of the blue just started releasing books which had pic related as the spine. Which would have been fine if they had done this from day one but if I wanted a consistent collection I would have had to buy like 10 books which I already owned in this released version since they didn't release books with the original spine design anymore.
Why the fuck are publishers allowed to get away with this.
