I'm reading her omnibus right now, actually. I've already read Slouching Toward Bethlehem and The White Album. She's the clear-eyed lucid foil to Gonzo journalism and absolutely hypnotizing to read.

She apparently wrote most of the essays in Slouching Toward Bethlehem while drunk and popping uppers, which is interesting to me.
