I think those fans who draw towards believing in God, or at least become more agnostic after watching Peterson's stuff don't become "religious" in the sense you're referring to. I believe in God, I love Peterson's stuff, but i'm not religious. I like the Bible and try to live a somewhat moral (or pious) life according to the teachings of it; but i'm not a church-going person part of a particular sect. I like the Bible in the same way I like books like Meditations. Its profound, full of wisdom, and teaches values that are universally considered good.

I'm biased because I like Peterson's lectures and beliefs align quite closely with mine. What makes him so captivating is that he is able to articulate a lot of profound ideas I and many of his fans were unable to convey before. I don't understand this comment at all, Peterson has a great relationship with his daughter, who has even been on TV with him, and talked about how much he loves his mother. He presumably loves hif wife too, as hes only had one and they're sitll together, and he talks about how much better she is in many aspects.

Someone like him is basically the opposite of the typical 4channer. Extroverted, and low neuroticism. So he puts himself out there and doesn't really care what people think or say. So yeah it can be cringy or funny at times but even though I get my share of laughs too I am genuinely grateful that people can be that way.

I thought he's apologized multiple times for not answering emails because he gets too many and he organized his email to automatically sort them into like 5 or 6 accounts now (presumably they get autoforwarded to a shit email account that he never checks)
