It's actually easier to get published now.
>>9891098
More like /stopthememes/ thread
>>9891095
I'm not writing for fame. I just wrote the book because I had a great idea. The idea somehow was good enough for 3 full manuscript requests from prominent agencies. I just wrote "famous" because I know that my book now actually has a chance to make it big.
Like I said, I'll be shouting you all out.

I'll stick with fiction novels.
>>9892274
screenwriters are the lowest of the low
>>9892414
>At least they have some standards to fulfill. Literally anyone can write poetry.
bad post bro
>>9892281
It's just a total waste of time for anyone not living in LA and lacking in social skills. At the very least, you can self publish your novel. Nobody is going to read a script written by a nobody for a movie that doesn't exist.
>>9892414
Anyone can write poetry sure. No one's getting published unless you win a contest or fellowship
>>9892237
we're gonna have a whole generation of retarded goodreads writers
>>9892422
sorry no refunds, nigs
>>9892437
Sure but even criteria for these are pretty random. With a novel or a screenplay, you can generally predict whether it has a chance or not, yes obviously people do get it wrong sometimes but it's relatively transparent. Journalism is kinda in between, depending on publication. Blogs are the equivalent of longer shitposts but even here, at least the popularity is usually based on something obvious.
I am not arguing against poetry as art form or anything, it's just ridiculously subjective, even compared to the rest.
>>9892203
Wrong
Wrong
and Wrong
I'm op and I puked so much reading your answers
You really fucking suck lads
>>9893068
At least you're not Gaskun and his 15 novels of space opera shit. "Hurr durr I'm gonna remake the heroes journey!"
Good luck OP.
