This is the best collection of short horror ever written.
Can anyone refute this?

i can't expect Clive to tone down the gayness, but yeah, they're pretty good.
I think Ramsey Campbell is better.
Is there a lot of queerness?

No, not really. Almost every character is heterosexual. The best story in the collection (In the Hills, the Cities) does have a gay couple fucking in a field at one point though.
Clark Ashton Smith is bretty gud

clarkash-ton never wrote a story about a gay manwhore who meets with an archaeologist who dug up a wooden statue that came to life and started assuming the gay manwhore's identity.
This or Teatro Grottesco

Ramsey Campbell, M.R. James, T.E.D. Klein, Robert Aickman, and others are better by a country mile.

He didn't really write horror though. More dark fantasy.
