An attractive girl I was sitting next to in high school asked me what I was reading once. It was On the Road. She asked me what it was about and I told her it was about a road trip. She asked me if I liked it and I told her it was terrible and I really disliked it. Then she asked me why I was still reading it. I told her I wanted to finish it anyway but she didn't understand.

On a side note, I was once holding a book while talking to a girl I was into at the time and she asked me what the book was. I told her The Complete Dramatic Works of Samuel Beckett. Then she asked "What's it about?". I didn't know how to answer so I just looked at her for a bit, and she started talking about something else
