It has been years since I read a fictional book. Mainly because I see literature as an obsolete medium. Film is just so superior to me.
Anyway, I want to get into plays. What plays do you recommend for a movie lover?

Because you're a brainlet.

>posts a picture of Maude Fealy
if a brainlet then either a lucky one or one with superior taste.
I want to throat-fuck Maude so badly.

Not even a good picture of her. She was amazingly gorgeous.

>fictional book
As opposed to a real book? And probably A Long Days Journey Into Night and True West. You can find productions of them on YouTube with famous actors in them.

Those hands worked, that body was strong (and not useless 'gym' strong). I could never be worthy of that.
Even though I feel momentarily convicted by a younger, more uebermenschliche United States of America thanks for posting. Bravo.

Shaw's St. Joan. Then watch the Ingrid Bergman film.

Name 1 single film that is superior to literature. I have watched thousands of films, and read only a mere hundreds of books, yet I find your claim ridiculous and unfounded. Although you do say "to me", so I suppose it's just you spewing your baseless opinion and admitting that you're a pleb.
Behind every great film is even greater literature; film and its inspiration is founded on literature, while other film is simply just complimentary. Pic related, Godard knows the true value of film, and the hierarchy of art in general. Literature is always on top.

The Tree of Life is a much greater work than the boring self-insert fantasy that is the Divine Comedy

Not even Malick's best. In fact, his first two, before his long break, are his only truly worthwhile and authentic films. If you're OP: way to out yourself. Never make such unfounded claims again, because it's pathetic. And please watch more film if Tree of Life is what comes to mind.

Hey, Fuck you. Literature and Language is the furthest artform from any natural human sense, and as such, is the least bound to physicality. Therefor, the better a writer, the more creative they can be without having to worry about realism when writing a passage. Literature is the true key to unlocking the potential of your mind, whatever your limits may be.
