As someone who has read it, I think it's useful for what it tries to be, but is immensely overrated. Its fame derives from the fact that no one reads it.
I disagree with many of the rules, and I particularly do not like the way that it is organized. This work leaves much to be desired. My qualm is that this work should have been off of our selves at least two or three decades ago. There needs to be replacement for it. (I'm currently working on one.)

The advice is solid, but don't follow it to the letter
