Actually, Schroedinger's Cat is the better trilogy.

The voice acting was so good for like 100 pages
because it's meme trash
as I get older I more and more realize all fiction is garbo tbqh

I wish it was a meme. When do you ever hear people on 4chan talk about Illuminatus or RAW? This website is spooked as fuck
I actually have it on my desk at work. I'm going to dive into once I finish The Road.
>>9867335
let me ask you this, and think hard and answer honestly, do you own a trash can?
because if so that is where you should put the road as soon as humanely possible.
>>9867251
>meme trash
>written in the sixties
make up your mind, faggot.

oh, look, "Illuminatus!" was pretty freaky in the seventies, back before people became really paranoid.
back then it was possible to freak people out by type-setting discordian nonsense and printing it, because very few people had access to desktop publishing. today, anyone can do it. anyone can tweet bullshit and have a news website pick it up as if it were truth. nobody believes anything they read any more. the "Chinese Fire Drill" that Simon Moon conducted wouldn't work today - people would either give him the finger, or try to run him down.
tl;dr paranoia for the sixties is nothing compared to the metanoia of the 21st.
It was always intended as satirical conspiracy fiction.

What does this have to do with my post? I don't really disagree that people are way more paranoid now but I also think RAW has a place it it all and isn't at all irrelevant.
>ywn make a TV series rendition of Illuminatus! akin to the Twin Peaks revival
