For an English project I need to compare the idea of 'Great Expectations' between two books, one of which must be 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens. I'm quite stuck on what other book to compare it to. I want to do something that contrasts with the ending of the Charles Dickens' book, so I can compare the two easier.
So I ask 4chan, what do?
pick some cynical french novel and shaggy-dog it up till you've driven home the point that it represents low expectations
Compare it with Finnegans Wake
I maxed out all my scores in this shit in high school and college. Just write like you mean it and use proper grammar, and it helps to have some weird sexual tension with your middle aged litterature teacher.

shouldn't you be sleeping

Yes.

uh, what do if my 'middle aged lit teacher' is a widowed elderly woman

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, of course.

Meme her by knowing shit about her favourite authors litterature. If you've paid attention you should know what that is.
