Richard Hitchens "the god collusion" because of the lack of world building and plot
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is pretty good i guess
Thomas Pynchon's V., no bullshit. Strong contenders would be William Burroughs' Naked Lunch or Will Self's My Idea of Fun, but V. reigns supreme as my favorite novel for many years now. It may be less worthy in a sense of literary value than Gravity's Rainbow but it's more of an entertaining read and strikes to me as more of an accessible (not that accessibility is a requirement) narrative about junkies and degenerates that doesn't rely completely on junk and degeneracy.
Young Werther because I find it relatable and love the world unblemished by atheism and all the atrocities of the 20th century
Anything writen by this homeless man, because his world is a trash can
