Yes. No but certain personality qualities are better suited for the task of writing for hours on end.
can Stephen King write professionally?
has Stephen King produced anything of literary value?

Can I learn how to be Stephen King? I don't want to be a literary genius who's remembered centuries from now, I just want to be able to afford a middle class existence through writing. I'd rather kill myself than hold an office job until I retire.

As far as I can tell if you don't have actual talent you need to just suck off everyone and everything around you until you get publishing connections. A better question is, why would you.want to be Stephen King? Write in the form that pleases you most and keep trying, anything other than sincerity will slowly erode your soul and sense of self

Read every piece of shit think-piece artist out there right now, you can learn to write professionally and it doesn't take any skill to do.

I don't want to be King per se, I'm just wondering whether or not being able to write well enough to support a middle class existence is possible for someone of middling intelligence like me? My interest in historical fiction wouldn't be insincere, but I also don't want to devote my life to something that isn't going to let me live off of it.
