Credo, creed, I've heard them called different things. It's a list of my personal beliefs essentially.
>First time poster on this board, /b/iz/nussman reporting in
This was a project I did for a high school English class junior year. I turned it in 2 months late and basically illegible, got a 35/30. I just transcripted it from paper to digital and I figured I'd share it, what better of a place for my writing to get shit on and to be called a faggot for my beliefs than 4chan.
Looking for feedback of you didn't get the message

>I believe that life, while it may be repetitive, industrious, volatile, exhausting and ultimately, objectively, pointless, life is a journey in which you find yourself and your purpose. While not all may be deserving of this great gift, we all posses it, and it cannot be returned.

do you have downs syndrome?

>Over my short span of life on this planet, I've experienced things that some only dream of, lost things that some only dream of calling their own, and I've missed out on opportunities that some only dream of having available to them. After my collective 17 years on this very awesome planet, I've come to find that there is a distinguishable cause for any and every occurrence.
>I believe everything happens for a reason. Based on the world that I have reprieved and understood thus far, I believe that humanity has doomed itself to a very harsh reality. Accounting for the vast damage we've done to the environment with pollution, the ill and unrealistic beliefs of the people in positions of power, and the blindness and classification of the general public, we have doomed ourselves to a very violent correction in population, and reallocation of resources. There are many things that make the human race a strong, and dominant species, subjectivity, that make humanity great. I believe that human beings distract themselves from what makes them "great". We use many means of classifying, and distracting ourselves from everyday realities. Instead of embracing unique, complex, and revolutionary thinking, we use popular culture, substances, technology, and many more means of live in a diluted state of reality. People attempt to fit themselves into a mold of "normality" which they derive from their perception of society. People have a tendency to copy and follow their peers, as opposed to hosing their own unique and individual lifestyle. Humans maintain the illusion of having free will due to their ability to execute conscious decisions. In reality, we are limited by our own subconscious functions. Emotions, ethics, passion, and desire (or impulsive craving) are some examples of things in the human mind that override the conscious decision making abilities of the brain. In a certain sense, I believe that the human mind is it's own worst enemy. Apart, the conscious and subconscious can preform their functions at a much higher rate of efficiency. Together, the conscious and sub conscious maintain each other, and inhibit each others abilities, while at the same time, joining to function in a different manner than they would on their own. I believe that peace among st humanity is achievable. I believe that it is in human nature to be defensive of their position of power. Humans, like all animals have an invisible, subconscious, hierarchical system of power. Peace is an idea for people who cannot grasp the complexity of humanity and the world.

Industrious was a typo, I did automatic spell checking. It's 4am where I am.

>Our perception of existence on this planet is strictly chemical. While the nature of energy and the way it interacts and brings life to matter remains illusive and convoluted, I believe that we cannot reprieve the energy that exists within our physical, chemical being. We quite literally fabricate our reality using chemicals, and this can be scientifically proven by manipulation and or complete removal of perception of reality through chemical means. Most humans uphold the belief that all life holds value. This value has been, quite literally, manipulated, and this value is therefore questionable. Natural selection was the "regulator" of the value that life holds, and with modern medicine, birth control efforts, and standards of conscious behavior and morality, the regulation of life's value (among st humans of course, the life value of animals is much more complex) has been distorted, if not completely eliminated. I believe that there are a great deal of people on this planet that do not objectively deserve to be alive. In other words, I believe that there are a great deal of people whom without the unhealthy and industrious support of their peers, would not exist. There are many people whom by the literal, provable, and statistical standards of nature, not human beings, should not be alive. I believe that human beings all live in a diluted, unrealistic state of reality. Since we all fabricate our own perception of reality with our limited set of senses, I believe that it is biologically distorted in order to make reality a more comfortable existence. People tend to run from their problems, and hide from the ugly and intimidating facts of existence. For this very reason that we prefer to live in a self distorted and biased state of mind over facing reality in the most bare and objectively truthful way possible, I believe that the majority of people would prefer to be controlled by authority figures than to make decisions on their own behalf. In modern society, people often chose to be glorified slaves to their employers, public authority figures, and most of all, their own excuses, laziness and reprieved limitations. Human beings tend to think highly of themselves and their abilities due to self awareness they reprieve from their consciousness. Humans however, tend to forget that we are all animals, and are just as fragile as any other aspect of nature.

>While my beliefs do not encompass nor are influenced by humanity and earth as a whole, let alone the greater functions of reality and the universe, they are influenced by my limited experience of reality on this planet, and my experience and observations of human beings and the nature there of. My beliefs are a product of my experience with modern society, and conclusively, I do not believe that any modern society functions to the degree that it is capable of, that it is meant to, and that subjectively, it should. I do not believe in the US. justice system or its effectiveness to detour crime or punish criminals in a fair and just manner. Using personal conscious perceptions of reality, laws, religion, social structuring, and many other means influence, human beings create standards of behavior, morality, and thought to live by. I do not believe in any form of moral, conscious, or expressive limitation, or any set standard of behavior or thought. Limiting the vast power of the human mind is a toxic thing for or species, and should be considered unacceptable. I do not believe that subjective human perception holds any value objectively. Good and bad are words that when applied by humans, hold a very strongly biased, and subjectively influenced meaning. Every conceivable scenario has a positive, negative, and neutral perspective associated with it, and people make the conscious decision to choose a dominant perspective. To suggest any given scenario is dominantly good or bad is foolish. I do not believe that any life comes about in an equal manner. Physically, it is impossible for one entity to be equal to another. There are smart short people, and tall dumb people. It is completely necessary for imbalance to exist among st individuals, otherwise the collective of nature and humanity cannot achieve balance. To think that humans can ignore these differences for the sake of blatant peace is naive. I wish that I believed in humanities ability to set aside earthly preoccupation to collaborate and achieve a greater goal, but unfortunately, instinctual and sub conscious predetermination are the dominant factor in influencing human behavior. I wish I believed that humanity has not reached, or is not soon to reach it's peak point of existence on this planet. Our current focuses as a collective species are simply not aligned with long term, sustainable life on earth or any other planet. We do not acknowledge that we will soon reach a point of popularity and environmental sustainability. I wish that life had an achievable purpose. Humans fabricate a sense of purpose, and use this as a means of motivation to continue life, a lengthy process of trial and error to contribute to the greater knowledge and understanding of our species. I wish life was as simple as pleasing a higher power. I wish life was as simple as following a standard of behavior, thought, and morality, and fulfilling a predetermined purpose.

>Life in reality, is very complex and difficult to comprehend from a subjective, and especially from a limited human perspective. Life in reality, exists without a consciously comprehensible purpose.
>I used to believe that emotions had a greater, or objectively significant meaning. Emotions serve a very basic, very instinctual purpose, and do not hold ground in any logical or analytically territories. Emotions are a very basic reaction to stimuli, and can be manipulated in many ways, some remote, physical, and uncontrollable. I used to believe that life had provable distinctions of good and bad. I used to believe that human beings could be peaceful by nature. I used to believe that life had a set and understandable meaning. I used to believe that society functioned in a way that it was meant to, and in a way it ought to. I used to believe that there was the world was a very small and limited place compared to itself, and I now realize that it is very very large in comparison to itself, and very small and limited in comparison to it's surrounding existence.

>The most moving, awe inspiring, amazing, and significant experience I've undergone within my lifetime is the psychedelic experience. Upon ingesting a psychedelic substance, you undergo a psychical, chemical alteration to your perception of reality, an uncontrollable and inevitable process. Although experiences with these substances vary greatly among st users, I personally have changed very drastically for the better. Complete loss of ego, forced perception of dietary function, reaching a state or euphoric enlightenment only for it to be ripped away in a moments notice bringing you to an absolute phosphoric hellish state, and so many more alterations of waking reality can be expected upon embarking in a psychedelic journey. I've been places I would have never seen, met people I wouldn't have ever thought existed, made decisions I've never imagine I'd have to make, and most of all, my perception of the world, and more specifically, my perception of myself has been permanent altered. I have existed without a perception of ego. I have existed as an entity outside of my own physical body, and looked at myself from the outside in. I have changed myself, for better or for worse, to an extent that I never would have imagined possible in such a short amount of time. Prior to experiencing psychedelia, I was intimidated by the vastness and complexity of our reality. After experiencing psychedelia, I have learned to embrace the endlessness, challenge, and repetitive nature of the world and become inspired by the pointlessness of existence. Psychedelia holds not the power to give you new or greater knowledge, however it provides you with the profound ability to view your conscious and subconscious from an entirely foreign perspective, and gain new insights into the knowledge you already hold.

The link posted is a bit unreliable so I posted it. Lots of typos, so if something doesn't quite make sense it's a mistake.

you contradict yourself
>life is pointless
>psychedelics don't teach you anything
>psychedelics taught me something
>you can find meaning in life

life can certainly be returned. i think about returning it all the time.

psychedelics can be good for some people but aren't for everyone.

I do, I noticed that a few times
Objectively life is pointless, however you develop a subjective sense of purpose in order to maintain mental wellness. I did state experiences very greatly, and I personally had success with it. Like I said, I gained a new perspective on the world that i would take much longer to develop without a psychedelic. No new knowledge, just new insights
Killing yourself isn't returning life, it's continuing it. You're transferring your energy into a new or existing entity and therefore providing new life
