How much have you written, /lit/?
I have about 30 short stories, five novellas, one novel and one half of another novel done in four years.Still not published. End my life senpai[\spoiler]
I dunno. I have like 3 novels, one in the process. maybe a couple dozen stories.
I am published, but still trying to make money at it.

Post your books, please.

None of my books are published, just short stories hence why I don't make money at it.

Then let us download your books from somewhere if you aren't going to publish them anytime soon.

Uh no. Just because I'm not going to publish them now doesn't mean I won't ever. I've been working on short stories, and finally getting published, so I figured I'd run up some writing creds and try getting the books published again.
Then I'm writing another short book now, and I want to self publish it, if nothing else just to learn the ins and outs of that. Then if i still can't get published, I actually thought of an idea for a total sell out novel that publishers will probably love, and I'll just go with that.

>trying to make money
You're doing it wrong. You should be doing it for the love.

If I didn't love it, I wouldn't have written as much as I have already. I'd do it whether I made money or not, but making money is the goal.

Then you might wanna tell us the book's name or at least yours so we can find it and buy it?

I've put up stuff of my stuff on lit before, even some stuff I got published, and gotten no responses. So I don't really bother anymore. Not really looking for lit's approval in anything I do either. Not knocking the board, but it's not intended to be a serious writing place, and definitely isn't a good place to promote your stuff.
I only have half a dozen very short stories
I have nothing interesting to say and no interesting ideas, so I don't know if I'll ever make something great

Self publish it ya dip

Okay, I won't bother you anymore.
I have more than two dozen short stories, one novel, one other novel that's almost finished, a decent amount of poetry, and some fanfiction, including two enormous fanfics. I also have a finished screenplay (which I probably need to revise) and an incomplete script for the pilot episode of a TV show.
I only have a few short stories published. In the last year or so I've racked up a fuckton of "We were impressed with your writing, but this isn't a good fit for us right now" rejections. It's a little maddening.
Two poems
An unfinished short story
A finished short story
A novel concept that never went anywhere
Two essays
20 or so pages of thoughts and ideas that came across my mind
20 percent of a book translated
One short story that I feel could be publishable but I haven't sent it anywhere.
Poetry from undergrad and post grad that I'm proud of but also haven't sent anywhere lol.
The 12k of magical realist novel which I've abandoned for now in favor of a young adult fantasy which should be more salable.
I have an English degree with a writing emphasis. I'm reasonably sure I'll be publishable eventually but wonder if I can rise above mid-list.
Nothing.
I've tried a few short stories, but they're garbage and I'm garbage and I hate myself and I want to die.
